Summary of the Production Floor upcoming projects

hans.jpg

Dear friends, visitors and readers

March-April will bring new projects to the Production Floor. We will see the beginning of the Bottle Project (part of the World is a Playground-exhibition) while other projects to be worked and developed on are The New Word Project, Creating Society 2006 Campaign and David's Philosophical Consultants among others...

I will move back to Helsinki in the beginning of April while David will still be working from Prague and Tokyo. Boram is working on her new exhibition in Korea and I guess is not planning to move anywhere.

World is a Playground: Bottle Art

bottle2.jpg

The "Bottle Art" project is aiming for a small demonstration where the vending machine use will not maybe taken into a new level but will be a channel, a distribution method to bring art, people's thoughts and feelings closer to the street level and more accessible for the anonymous people on the streets of Tokyo.

We need culture, feelings, expressions in our time of rapid growth, helping us to stay strong while going by our daily lives... Art, culture, music, feelings, can contribute to these feelings...and the aim is to take, from the artists point of view, one step closer towards the people by using vending machine as a tool to distribute fresh bottles of ideas that will satsify not only the mind but also keep hearts warm for a moment.

Freelance Interns at Former Office

julien.jpg

People from the Production Floor for (good) old times sake, worked last night as one day interns at SBA Tokyo. The spirit was at its best after midnight. Julien and I went home with the 0515 train towards Shibuya.

Dedicated work force. That's what Production Floor is all about.
